About the Artist - Ceramic Artist Singapore
The Beginning
Born Singapore, 1964.
Donald-Eric graduated with a Diploma in Applied Arts (Graphic Design) from
the Baharuddin Vocational Institute (1986-1989) where he was trained in ceramic
art by Iskandar Jalil, the doyen of Singapore ceramic art and the recipient
in 1988 of Singapore’s highest award, the National Cultural Medallion
for Visual Arts.
Since then, Donald-Eric has participated in ceramic art fairs and group shows
in Singapore, South-East Asia and beyond. He has been awarded commissions
for his ceramic masterpieces from corporate and private art collectors around
the world, who have very quickly recognised his distinctive style of ceramic
art.
